CICT Mobile Elevated Work Platform

CICT’s Elevated Work Platform (EWP) training course is an instructor-led program.
Course Duration – 8 Hours
CICT Mobile Elevated Work Platform is offered mobile at a client’s site or at our training facility. The course is intended for workers who require training to inspect and operate this equipment in a safe and effective manner. This course will train the user to safely use elevated work platform/aerial lift equipment to perform duties in multiple workplace environments. The course requires participants to successfully pass both written and practical tests to achieve certification.
Training completion & certification:
- Participants will receive a wallet sized card or ticket certifying that they have successfully completed & met the training requirements
- CICT will provide proof of training completion to employers when requested
- Training records are kept on file & participants, employers & sites may contact CICT for proof of training

- Alberta OH&S Legislation
- EWP specifications
- Types of EWP’s
- Planning requirements
- Hazard Identification & Controls
- Load limitations and calculations
- Working at heights
- Pre-use inspection and function check
- Operation of an EWP
- Emergency procedures
