Confined Space Entry and Monitor
CICT’s Confined Space Entry & Monitoring (CS E/M) training course is an instructor-led program approved by the Energy Safety Canada (ESC) . The course adheres to the ESC standard and encompasses both entrant and monitor duties and requirements. This training is applicable to any jurisdiction where the standard is recognized.
Course Duration – 4 to 6 Hours
The course is offered mobile at a client’s site or at our training facility. The course will train the user to safely perform these duties in multiple workplace environments. The course is designed to certify participants to work as entrants and monitors for confined space levels 1, 2, 3 & restricted spaces. A confined space monitor must understand all related duties, accurately track entrants, communicate with them, follow established site procedures and respond to emergencies.
Training completion & certification:
- Participants will receive a wallet sized card or ticket certifying that they have successfully completed & met the training requirements
- CICT will provide proof of training completion to employers when requested
- Training records are kept on file & participants, employers & sites may contact CICT for proof of training
